Healthx Announces Additions to Its Executive Team
INDIANAPOLIS — June 1, 2017 — Healthx, Inc., the leader in cloud-based portal and digital engagement solutions for healthcare payers and other stakeholders, announced two new additions to its executive leadership team. Jim Meer has been named chief financial officer, and Ellen Humphrey has been appointed to the newly created role of chief people officer.

As chief financial officer, Jim Meer oversees the company’s finance, legal, compliance and facilities functions. Prior to joining Healthx, Meer was senior vice president of finance at Appirio, where he oversaw global financial, planning and analysis and accounting functions at the company. Prior to Appirio, he was vice president and corporate controller at Salesforce (previously ExactTarget). He also serves as a Board Member of Financial Executives International and on the Board of Visitors for the Byrum School of Business at Marian University. Meer earned his MBA from Xavier University, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business from Marian University.
Ellen Humphrey brings more than 20 years of professional experience in leading global human resource strategies for corporations across technology, professional services, financial, and energy sectors. In her role as chief people officer for Healthx, she oversees all talent-related functions for the company. Previously she was senior vice president, human resources for Appirio, and vice president, global total rewards, talent, and HR operations at Salesforce (previously ExactTarget). Her community efforts focus primarily on serving her profession and women and girls in need. She serves on the board of Girls, Inc. of Greater Indianapolis and is a 500 Circle member and mentor with the Pass the Torch for Women Foundation. She is also an Advisory Board member for the University of Indianapolis Master’s degree in Human Resource Development & Administration program. Ms. Humphrey earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Accounting from Indiana University–Purdue University in Indianapolis.
