Larry Contrella and Mac Williams Recognized as Part of GrowthCap’s Top 40 Under 40 Growth Investors of 2024

JMI Equity, a growth equity firm focused on investing in leading software companies, is proud to announce that two of its investment professionals, Partner Larry Contrella and Principal Mac Williams, have been named to GrowthCap’s prestigious Top 40 Under 40 Growth Investors of 2024.

This recognition highlights individuals who have made significant contributions to the evolution of growth equity and growth buyouts. These honorees have consistently demonstrated excellence, receiving numerous substantive nominations from CEOs and colleagues who have witnessed their impact firsthand.

Final selections were based on a rigorous evaluation process, considering deal experience, ability to drive value for portfolio companies, collaborative approach, and leadership within their firms and the industry. Larry Contrella, a Partner in the Baltimore office, joined JMI in 2010. He is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities as well as providing strategic and operational support to portfolio companies. Larry is currently a director of Apptegy, Bloomerang, ChurnZero, Incident IQ, RainFocus, and Raptor Technologies.

Mac Williams, a Principal in the Baltimore office, joined JMI in 2016. He is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities as well as providing strategic and operational support to portfolio companies. Mac is a director at OnBoard and Raptor Technologies and a board observer at Apptegy, Higher Logic, Ontic, and UKG.
