Schoology Wins Top Spot: Named Best Overall Education Solution in 2016 CODiEs
NEW YORK—July 27, 2016—The SIIA CODiE Awards announced their Best of Show winner in education technology this week and named Schoology as the Best Overall Education Solution for 2016. This follows the May awards program where Schoology won the CODiE category for Best K-12 Course or Learning Management Solution.
Schoology puts collaboration at the heart of the learning experience by connecting people, content and systems in powerful, meaningful ways. In the past few years, Schoology has added new features and functionality that redefine the LMS category in K-12 and higher education. In June, Schoology introduced AMP (Assessment Management Platform), a new solution integrating the Schoology learning management system with embedded institution-wide assessment management functionality. This combined system brings together student learning experiences with comprehensive institution-wide assessment and actionable reporting so that the same system teachers use to deliver curriculum can also be used to assess student progress and preparedness.

In 2016, the Best Overall Education Solution is determined by combining all the scores of the first and second round of judging and selecting the product with the highest overall score among all the entered products. Schoology has won Best K-12 Course/Learning Management Solution for three consecutive years, winning in 2016, 2015, and 2014. Schoology has won a CODiE award every year since 2013, for a total of eight wins in four years.
